Common Questions

Prenatal paternity testing, answered.

Yes, completely safe. NIPP works by analyzing fetal DNA that naturally circulates in the mother's bloodstream. The baby is never touched, never tested directly, and there are no procedures performed near the uterus. The only sample taken from the mother is a routine blood draw from her arm.
As early as 10 weeks into pregnancy. By 10 weeks, enough of the baby's DNA is present in the mother's bloodstream for accurate analysis. There is no upper limit; the test remains accurate throughout the pregnancy.
99.9% or higher accuracy for confirming a biological match. NIPP samples are processed by the same AABB-accredited laboratory standard used for court-admissible legal DNA tests.
Amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) are invasive procedures that involve inserting a needle near or into the amniotic sac. Both carry a small but real risk of miscarriage. NIPP requires neither. It uses a simple blood draw from the mother's arm, with zero risk to the baby.
Yes, if you want to know. A FREE optional gender reveal is included with every prenatal paternity test, delivered alongside your paternity result, weeks before a standard ultrasound can typically reveal gender. Since not everyone wants to know in advance, just let us know when you schedule your appointment whether you’d like the gender included or kept private.
Yes. Each additional alleged father is +$200 on top of the base price. See full pricing →
Most prenatal paternity results are available within 5–10 business days after samples reach the laboratory.
Wherever is most comfortable for you. A certified specialist comes to your home, workplace, or any private location across Southern California. There is no need to travel during pregnancy or coordinate a clinic visit.
No. NIPP is not available for a pregnancy where there is more than one baby (twins, triplets, etc.). The test relies on isolating one baby's DNA from the mother's bloodstream, which isn't possible when two or more babies are present. If this applies to your pregnancy, a peace-of-mind or legal DNA test after birth is the right path.
A non-invasive prenatal paternity test starts at $1,599. This includes mobile collection within 30 miles of 92585, two participants (mother and one alleged father), and AABB-accredited laboratory processing. See full pricing →
